I found this easy because I had to ask the questions and not answer them, Because when you have you answer questions you have to give lots of information sometimes and that is what i struggle with sometimes.

Next time i should think of better questions to get more information.

I found this easy because I just had to describe about the hobbit and then just type it in.

Today I struggled with my thinking because I had to retell the bit in the story that I was reading.  Next time I will try and retell a easier book.

I found this a little bit hard because I didn't really understand some of the questions.

Next time i will try and find the meaning of the questions in a dictionary.

Fractions screen cast

This is my screen cast of me doing mathletics.  I found this easy because I knew how much wholes there are and how much there were in the last circles.  Next time I should do something harder so that it can challenge my brain.

Reading C'afe

I found this easy because I first read one of the red boxes and the found the other meaning to it and then connected it together. I found it hard writing in the spare square because thinking about another meaning the other square on the other side was like I am trying to figure out a really hard reading problem.

Comparing icecream.

Today I struggled with my thinking because when I compared my two ice creams together I had to remember what kinds of things that they used for their ice cream.

Next i will need help with remembering what things that they used.

I found it easy because I used snails view,birds eye view and side view and I used a camera and some others used ipads and cameras are easier to take photos with and that is why I found it easy. 

Anzac Day Photos

We read lots of books and articles about war.  We listened to someone who was in the war.

We wanted to share the information and new information that we have learned from our readings and our findings with our peers.

WALT present our information about Social Conflict.

The most challenging thing was colouring in the flags because I used oil pastels and I had to use card board for the flags which made it harder.

I also found it hard because painting the hole of the inside of the box that i used was way to hard doing it by myself because I had to get  very little bit of the box and that was using up all of our paint. 

My maths evidence.

I.A.L.T.  solve maths problems.

First we had to read the problem and then after that we looked for some clues that could help us to solve the problem.  We shared our ideas to try to solve it and then we worked it out separately.  At the end we shared our answers and then we all got the answer.

Speech map.

W.a.l.t use a graphic organiser to plan our speech.

The most challenging thing was to think of facts or examples for my reasons because when you write a speech and you need to get some facts or examples to state your reasons you need to think really hard and just by getting ideas from my family i was finished in within 5 minutes.

The most challenging thing was drawing the picture because it was hard to do all of the eyes on his head and the rest was kind of easy but at the same time I thought that it was all the same.  I enjoyed doing this because helping my some of friends to draw there own pictures was fun and it was also fun to guide them sometimes.

WALT write a recount using a post card format.

This is my writing that i have been working on.

I liked this peace of work because in the beginning our class had to start of with a practise post card and that helped me to do my own post card that I have done.

I found this peace of work easy because when I started to type it I was done with in ten minutes.

I am learning to identify and describe what the author wanted me to feel, think about or see.

Success Criteria.

I will know I have been successful when:

• I can identify what I think the author’s purpose might be
• I can identify the big idea or message/s in the story through character actions or events
• I can describe the thoughts, feelings and actions in the story and link it to author purpose
• I can find evidence in the text to support my thinking, feelings and observations
• I can identify how the illustrations help to get the author’s message across

I found this peace of work easy because it was easy to think of words to put into the questions and also because just by reading a little bit of the book it made me get a lot of information.

Next time I think I should try and read more of the book so that I can get more information and look at the success criteria.

I got a lot better at drawing then I was before because when I started to draw the background and when I started to paint it my painting started to look better.

Next time I should try and get a more thiner brush so that it would be easier to die around the out side and not paint over the vivid that I drew with.

I thought it was hard trying to find adjectives to describe me.  Next time I could use a dictionary to help me find adjectives.
